Meet - Kay Crick

When I was a kid, my dad was a photographer, and he taught me the basics of taking pictures or i could say he handed me a camera and said have fun. From there, I just learned by doing. A couple of years ago, I took up painting. It turned out to be a relaxing and productive hobby. I've even won awards for both my photography and painting. I got the "Best Use of Color" award for one of my paintings. These days I have an art studio upstairs at Art in the Village, located in Casey Jones Village.

I'm originally from Jackson, Tennessee. I used to work in the banking industry and as an affiliate broker in real estate. After I retired, I decided to finally follow my passion for the arts.
