My artistic odyssey began with a challenge from my husband, who had his sights set on an exorbitantly priced painting. Doubtful of my artistic prowess, he playfully dared me to replicate it. That Christmas, he presented me with a sum of money, encouraging me to gather the necessary supplies for the endeavor.

Seven years have swiftly passed, and I now find myself as an artist who seldom relies on traditional brushes. I've carved a niche in creating bespoke portraits of animals and people, mainly for friends and relatives. My thirty years as a hairstylist have also allowed me the joy of crafting art for my patrons. Currently, I'm venturing into the realm of oil paints, while my fondness for acrylics on canvas endures. My artistic journey has been an autonomous voyage through various mediums like color, pencil, pastel, and watercolor. I've honed my skills in realism, adding a personal touch by weaving in texture. Armed with a palette knife, I layer paint in a unique fashion, breathing life into pieces that marry realism with abstraction.

Time has flowed on, yet my husband's initial proposition stands incomplete. He awaits the day I recreate that once-desired masterpiece. Nevertheless, he cherishes the original artworks I've composed solely for him, each symbolizing our shared experiences and my blossoming talent.
